Jessika Danyluk is an up and coming Cree artist from Wemindji, Eeyou Istchee. She works in both traditional and digital media, including watercolour, acrylic paint, pencil crayon, ink and digital illustration. Jessie began her career as a professional artist at the young age of 16 in 2017. She has won multiple awards for her artwork, including three Youth Achievement Awards for Arts from 2017 to 2022 and the Eeyou Istchee Achievement Awards for Youth Artist of the Year in 2024.

Jessie draws inspiration from Cree culture, her surroundings in Eeyou Istchee, and social media creators. Her life experiences also serve as fodder for her artistic vision. Her colorful, detailed illustrations showcase her talent and creativity as she tells visual stories through her art.
